Football isn't only about dribbling. For his position (striker) he had enough pace and dribbling ability to dribble pass and nutmeg 1 or 2 defenders and take a shot. Messi is a RW and a CF he had the ability to dribble pass 4 or 5 defenders at once and take a shot on target and he's good at his job. Every position demands different attributes. But even young ronaldo before the injury was nowhere near messi's level, plus dribbling is one of the main parts of the game so if youre not world class at it, why even bother talk about him at a great standard, its easy maths

You need goals to win and he gave Madrid goals in the most difficult situations and matches. Some were tap ins some were absolute bangers and some were free kicks. And that is why Ronaldo is the greatest goal scorer. I acknowledge Messi too. He is an all-rounder. A playmaker and a finisher. Truly once in a generation player. But just considering the ability to dribble is not justified for judging a player. Take example of basquets, was he a dribbler that would dribble pass 4-5 defenders? He was good at his la pausa and playe making.
